Yep, after going back and forth all day, we have decided not to go to the city tomorrow because of the severe winter storm warnings and predicted blizzard-like conditions, including 8-12" snow, wind, and wind chills. I think we knew that it was the right decision, even if we took awhile reaching it. The whole family is disappointed--the kids don't even know yet and they will be sad, at least until it snows--but we'll try again in a few weeks. Until then, we have gingerbread cookie makings in the house, plus numerous other snow and holiday related activities. And I'm sure I'll be live blogging the blizzard when it gets here.
