Gingerbread Satisfaction

Buddy has had his day. He spent more than 30 minutes today carefully decorating his graham cracker "gingerbread" house with every kind of candy we'd bought at the store in preparation for our party. He was completely engrossed, engaged, concentrating on his house, which he modeled very carefully after the one Sis made at the party (she made a new one, along with their visiting friend, but both of them finished long before Bud). And so proud! So, while it wasn't quite the same treat as going to the all-girls' party last week, it was very satisfying to him.
