To all my extended maternal family in Texas, gathering today to celebrate Christmas as they have done for some 30-odd years, merry Christmas and happy new year to all!
We had a really good time! Wendy took home the loveseat that Tom had offered. This year there were only two small children attending...1 year old Mallie and 7 month old Jax...and they were very good. So, we had plenty of time to visit with everyone. We ended the day by pulling out the songbooks, as is our custom, and doing a credible job of staying on key. Merry Christmas to us all!
