Sure, all my Texas readers will laugh because they've had 90+ degree days for awhile now. But this is Connecticut. We once went a whole summer without ever breaking 90F! And now, this year, it's not even officially summer yet and today it might be close to 95F. Which means the kids are sitting in un-air-conditioned classrooms today, sweating through their studies. I know that's how it always used to be, but that was before climate change.
On the bright side, I think the high is supposed to be 70F later this weekend.
