I have passed the halfway mark on weaving Mama's scarf! I was very excited to remove the thin strip of paper pinned to the fell, or edge of my weaving, where I've been recording the patterns and marking where I start and stop them, and flip it around so that it is my guide for the "downhill" part of the scarf, thereby making the scarf symmetrical. Even though the scarf is very regular and I've recorded the pattern elsewhere, I really like the visual, physical record of what I'm creating.
All of which means I think I'll be finished with it in time for the last class next Sunday. If I run down there now, I should be able to add a inch or two before I have to go get the kids!
