Tidbits

Bud and Sis love to pet our cats but realize that the cats are often hesitant or indifferent to their attentions. But the other day, as we entered the house, both cats approached, letting the kids pet them. Shocked, Bud said, "Albus has turned into a petting cat!" Alas, it was only temporary. But it was a good start.

Sis eyed the SweetTarts from her friendly warily, knowing that they weren't chocolate and thus not worth her eating. "I'm going to give this to the soldiers." I'd say that''s making a virtue out of a necessity!

"I left the lid off the sandbox because I was angry that you were making us come inside," she told me this morning when I noticed the lid was still off.

Ouch.
