No, we're not getting any snow right now, but conversation at church did turn to the winter concoction. Our Alaskan friend had never heard of the stuff, instead familiar with "Eskimo cream" which was lard and . . . something. Cranberries? Chocolate chips? I don't need that recipe.
And Miss M, the kiddos' Sunday school teacher, makes snow cream with instant lemon pudding and ice cream. Mmmm. Says it is really good. I would try it with lemon or with vanilla. Gotta remember to stock up, not that there is any snow in the forecast. For a change.
Then, Miss A, our church pres, when I mentioned sweetened condensed milk for our snow cream, said that you cook that for 3-4 hours and you have the best butterscotch pudding ever.
