The NYTimes reported a study today that adults who nap perform better on tasks than those who take caffeine. No real surprise there. What is surprising is that anyone thinks that a 2 hour nap between 1-3 pm is a viable solution to performance problems versus a cup of coffee that can be drunk on the job (whatever that is). Sure, I'd love a nap, but sometimes I barely get that cup of coffee.
If only my kids could read . . . .
P.S. Yes, I'm sure those of you who know that I only drink decaf are laughing. But apparently it's all mental. People taking a placebo did as well as those on the caffeine!
