"Mama, Mommy, come quick. It's snowing!! Is it Christmas?"
White, fluffy, powdery snow. Beautiful as it sticks to trees and wires and cars. Not the right kind of snow, but fun for making snowfriends that look more like cats and become "snow kitties" with grape eyes, pine cone ears and paws, and carrot nose. And then for snow angels. When you slide down the slide in snow pants, the snow flies up everywhere. And as the wind blows, the trees make it snow again. Later, with lots of packing, the snow becomes snowballs for a backyard, "tummies-only" snowball fight.
Christmas cookies for breakfast, with hot chocolate.
