As the Toe Goes

Some seven years ago, I broke the tip of the bone on the third toe of my right foot by dropping something like a magnum of soy sauce on my bare foot.

And it hasn't bothered me since. Until now. When I walk, rolling the tip of my foot to step, it hurts. Not severe, just noticeable. So I asked today at exercise class what the physical therapists made of this.

Arthritis.

(Though they made sure to remind me that they weren't doctors).

So, they said if it doesn't improve in a few days or go away in two weeks, to check in with my doctor.

Who would've thunk it, so many years later.

So, I'm wearing my shoes because it's less ouchy with shoes on.
