"It's Hot Enough . . . "

. . . to boil scrambled eggs!" Sis commented today during a rare afternoon foray onto the porch.

Indeed, it is very hot for CT--and maybe even TX!--with air quality alerts and temps rising to above 100F a few days in a row. In context, we never even got to 90F last summer. I liked last summer.

So, we're inside this holiday weekend, celebrating the 4th of July with air conditioning and cold fruit (thanks for the watermelon, lychee, fresh jackfruit, and grapes, Ma!), and fireworks on tv. Just couldn't be tempted to grill outside. Or even swim (except for lessons) . . . .
