Happy Fourth!

Wishing you all the best for your 4th of July celebrations this weekend! If you are looking for recipes, these are the three places I'm perusing:

• The Minimalist's wonderful compendium of 101 grilling recipes;
• An article on the coconut daiquiri;
• And finally, King Arthur Flour's very tempting "doughnut muffins." (It's their 220th anniversary this year!)

It looks like I would be making most of those alone, as I'm probably going to stay in town to babysit our sick kitty Albus while Mama takes the kids to see the grandparents before they head to Thailand. Not what we'd planned, but it'll work out.
