Republicans Are Just Different

So, you have a job and you're looking for another job, sort of in the same line of work, but higher up the ladder.

So, instead of working hard and doing the best you can at the job you have--a job you were elected to and for which you swore to do your duty--you quit (possibly in hopes of a better shot at the topnotch job. Or because there's some dirt that's about to come out about you).

And while you are announcing that you quit, you say you can do better outside your line of work (at least, presumably, until you move up).

How in the world does that mean you are still qualified to climb that ladder, having broken your word, abandonned your duty, and denigrated your line of work?

But then actually being qualified for the topnotch job doesn't mean much to some parties.
