Advent Activities: Guess Who's Coming For Dinner

You might think we might take today to catch up with some abandoned activities, to make cat treats or teacher treats. But no, we're having a dinner guest: new babysitter neighbor MJ (yes, all our babysitters are named M! So I've added a J for clarity). The kids have wanted her to stay every Tuesday for weeks and I understand from her mom that she would love to stay. Especially when we have meatloaf. So, we're having meatloaf and potatoes and vegetables and maybe rolls and dessert, the last that she helps make with the kids. We might make woven paper placemats or napkin rings, too.

And, if there's time, we'll do some of those abandoned activities.
