While it looks like California GLBTs might lose their right to marry, Connecticut has defeated a constitutional convention designed in part to take away our right.
Next week, marriage licenses become available here.
We'll do it, of course, for all of the legal rights that come with it. Ceremony #3, after a civil partnership in NY and a civil union here in CT. Third's a charm, right?
We're thinking perhaps Christmas Eve, when all of our parents are together again, just something really small since the minister would sign the form anyway. Sis would say as long as there is cake, it's a party.
Should we register? Send out announcements? "Sis and Bud announce the marriage of their mommies."
