The news is good: the second MRI w/contrast showed nothing, no odd spots on my spinal cord, which means the first MRI was probably just a technological abnormality. We are relieved and thankful, particularly for all of your prayers, good vibes, emails, calls, assistance, etc. We'll follow up with the neurologist in NYC next week, if only for a second opinion to confirm that the second MRI is the "right" one.
This week has been an emotional rollercoaster, but I feel blessed to have you all at the amusement park with me (though, I much prefer the carousel!!).
I'll post more later on some things I've learned about myself and some goals and plans I've made. But before that,I have preschool graduation (and the dessert I need to make), a meal for a mourning friend, and our kindergarten visit . . . because life goes on, no matter what. Even if I'm now thinking of it completely differently.
So happy to hear the good news!
