This is for you. If you are a mom with a child on the autistic spectrum, this is for you. If you are a mom whose kids aren't on the spectrum, this is still for you. And if you don't have kids or don't have them at home anymore, this can be for you, too. And if you ever stand in line at the grocery store and then roll your eyes at the behavior of someone else's kids, then this is especially for you.

I have to admit that the title of this guest post on Motherlode, "A Tale of Two Mothers," really threw me. I thought it was going to be about lesbian moms. Maybe next time, right, Lisa?
