So, what candy bar are you reaching for? Apparently, more American adults are consuming more (and cheaper)
candy than they were this time last year. Several candy companies profits are up from last year, a trend which mirrors the success of candy companies (and the birth of many of our favorites like Tootsie Pops and Three Musketeers) during the Great Depression. As if we needed any more parallels between today and the 1930s!
My candy of choice? Peanut M&Ms. But it hasn't been an M&M week here in awhile. Thankfully.
I love Lindt Lindor Truffles! 70 calories, 4gr fat each. There are 12 in a bag. I allowed myself 1 a day, even though I shouldn't have. A twist on things I probably won't say at the end of my life: "I wish I had eaten less chocolate."
