Today, I am very grateful for penguins, sea lions, and beluga whales.
Yep, we went to Mystic Aquarium and had a wonderfully distracting and enjoyable time. The kids didn't remember having been there before at all, which was quite surprising because I bet we'd been 6+ times! They really liked the white whales and the sea lion show, but of course the highlight was the penguin exhibit. In fact, Mama and I decided that Bud was kinda like a cartoon character with hearts floating above his head every time he saw a penguin! He would get this blissful look on his face and even tilt his head. I think he could've watched them dive and swim all day.
