Day 2: I am grateful for all the first responders, both to Sandy and to other emergencies: police officers, firefighters, medical teams, national and coast guards, electrical workers, etc.
Day 3: Having seen pictures of the devastation in the Rockaways, I am grateful that my in-laws are alive.
