I wish I could've located the camera and taken this picture in the waning later afternoon light:

Bud, secure in his car seat, his eyes closed with his head drifting to the side, sound asleep.

But still, his hand holding his new drumstick beats a very slow but steady rhythm on his new drum.

Across the car, in her own seat, Sis sat holding the paddles of her new brightly-colored, plastic underwater submarine so she could watch the submarine itself spin around in circles.
