With the exception of having discovered Lower Urinary Tract Disease in Albus (something common in neutered boy cats, often brought on by stress, that we'll have to just be aware of), the cats are doing as well as could be hoped. Hermione might be home tomorrow, but Albus will have to stay an extra night.
This afternoon, as we were driving home with Buddy sound asleep in his seat, we passed the vet where the cats are, and Sis recognized it (she was there once or twice before). She has such a good sense of place and direction, like her Mama, unlike her Mommy. Then she said, "Hermione will say, 'Mama, come take me home!' But she will say it in 'meow.'" We decided to head to Petco to get some presents for both cats for when (hopefully) they come home. Sis talked the whole way about how she wants to pet Hermione and throw her toys.
And then she, like her brother, fell sound asleep in the car.
