OMG, I might have a job prospect. And I'm not even sure I want one. But I'm looking into the details to see what it entails. Talk about mixed emotions.

Because, mind you, I cried, yes cried, thinking that today was our last day of "school" before real preschool in the fall. Just one step closer.

Mama's birthday is coming up. And we're getting ready. Enough said. Because she reads this blog.

Mama is a vegetarian now too. Watching that groundhog be run over (not by us) just as he almost cleared three lanes of traffic the other day was very upsetting.

Just a note: the "k" key on my computer is broken. If I "drop" the letter, please forgive me.

Articles that have me thinking:
- the one on gardening as a financial choice--we're trying our first vegetable garden. So far, so good.
- the Minimalist on reducing meat in your diet, plus all the good comments
- a revised reading on Little Women--can you still like Jo in a post-feminist world?? That's my favorite book, but would it still be?
- the sex-marathon books. What kind of marathon would we like? I'm thinking period-piece movies. Or read-aloud the classics. Or world food night. Or high tea once a week.
- how lesbi-gay couples could teach straight couples a thing or two.
- the one on multi-level marketing in Brain, Child (not digital), like HerbaLife and Mary Kay and how destructive it is for women, their finances, and their marriages. Does this hold true for Pampered Chef and Melaluca and Stampin' Up and Southern Living, companies for which my friends and friends of friends work as consultants? Heaven knows, I've spent money for them, as a "warm" party-goer, mainly out of respect for my friends, the hosts and consultants.
