Officially, if there is such a thing, today ends our summer project renovating the living room and dining room. The treadmill people are coming to disassemble the behemoth on the porch and move it to the basement, probably by way of the side door to aid in navigating the tiny, turning stairs. At that point, all the heavy lifting and fixing-up is over and we just have to put all of our belongings back in place, either in the house or to Goodwill.
Let's just hope they can get it down there!

UPDATE: The mover guys managed, through hard work, persistence, and removing the outer door from its hinges, to get the treadmill into the basement down those tight, tiny, turning stairs. Whew! I really hope I like it down there. Too late now . . . .
