. . . but too tired to write much now. Except that we had a good time--at dim sum, in Chinatown, on the beach, with the ice cream truck, with a large-screen tv, and in the backyard pool.

You can work out for yourselves the actual combination. 55 guests from around the world...2 from Ca the rest from British Isles but we thought of you as well as those less fortunate. It was held at a Zoo....actually in a hotel attached to a Zoological Preservation Trust where they have a number of very rare animals. The place was in the international news in May 1975 because a giraffe had mounted its partner, then fell off and could not be put back on its legs so it died...he had done his job and his grandson lives on yet. I cannot remember the giraffe's name.
Weather to-day is cold, barely 55. Bring on global warming.
