Sis cried because she wasn't going to school; Bud cried because he was.

On the day that Sis was at the doctor, Bud was thrilled to find me home alone, "I get you all by myself."
Similarly, Sis literally skipped through our grocery run today happy to be a single child. Or just happy to be out after 3 days at home.

Today Sis embraced doing homework with great zeal. And even did an extra packet which we must have forgotten one of those incomplete snow weeks. Bud, as usual, whined and moaned dramatically through it all.

This is the first full week of school Bud has attended since two weeks before Christmas!!!! So used to the words "delay" and "dismissal," he commented earlier this week that he "dismissaled all my soup!"
