It's been quiet on this northeastern front because Sis is home with fever again today, day 3, and will likely miss school tomorrow as well. The doctor is surprised it wasn't strep; it wasn't flu either. Or ear infections. So just your average virusy-coldy thing. She's been fairly miserable, even watched 3 movies the first day, which is unusual for her. (Thank you, Mama Teacher, for the very generous bag of movies you've loaned us. They're very excited.) And fell asleep on my lap for more than an hour yesterday while Bud was at kung fu, also highly unusual (no worries about her and the kung fu test this weekend; the master said she can reschedule). But this morning she seems more perky, if still low-grade fever.
Of course, in true twin fashion, she's very sad to be missing school and he's very sad to be missing home ("I'm the only one going to work today," he moaned when he heard that Mama was staying home to take Sis to the strep test). And so they annoy each other with that fact the first hour or so after he gets home!
But at least there's no snow!
