Good Luck, Bud!

Bud is going for his red belt in kung fu today. It's a long process, where he attends a review class, performs, watches and waits while all the other levels perform, and then learns in the final ceremony if he's earned his next belt. He started getting nervous last night but held it at bay most of the morning. I think this might be the first time he's actually been nervous like that about something. Test anxiety, I guess. Just another American childhood rite of passage?
