Yep, after an entire fall with nary a sniffle (after two years in preschool of missing at least a day or two a month!), she coughed all night and has a low-grade fever this morning. I must be out of practice because I should've guessed from the miserable day she had yesterday with lots of tears.
Bud did head to school unhappily, saying he was feeling "left out and anxious." But I'm told he was fine once he got to pick the music and play with one of Mama's car toys (yep, Magic Trunk strikes again--this time a figurine from How To Train Your Dragon, though I think he just had it on loan!).
Sis is settled in bed happily watching Return of the Jedi while I do some things in preparation for hanging out with her this morning.
Sick days just aren't like snow days.
