Fair is Tough

I wrote a few weeks ago about how I was inspired to go fair trade in my purchases of tea, coffee, and chocolate. I'm finding that decision much harder than I expected. My usual stores don't carry fair trade chocolate chips (candy bars are easier); in fact, I didn't see any at Whole Foods either. And there might only be one flavor of fair trade tea, never decaf, at the regular grocery. As for coffee, that is the easiest, but not easy. I'm not giving up; I just need to develop a supply line that doesn't rely on last-minute grocery store runs or trips to Whole Foods. I guess I'll be buying online. But I'm disappointed . . . because, out of tea this morning, I picked up my old brands.
