I spoke to my parents at 7 a.m. They had survived the storm so far but were still getting rain and wind. No power or cell phones, but land line phones. And their fence had partially blown down. The radar seems to indicate that they are still getting buffeted but not as badly as before, hopefully.
They're in for an uncomfortable several days with no power but are at least safe now.
