Pop!

Mama has always wondered why I equate eating popcorn with snow.  And I've never had a good answer for her.  I just know that, when snow falls, I often think of making popcorn and hot chocolate for our snack.

And then riding in the car listening to the radio on Sunday, I heard these lyrics from, "Let it Snow":

It doesn't show signs of stoppingAnd I've bought some corn for poppingThe lights are turned way down lowLet It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

Now, we know where I got the idea.

I guess lyrics in songs have more power than I thought!
