Volunteer Celebration

Last night our historic house hosted its annual holiday reception and volunteer recognition.  It was a lovely evening, with lots of friendly supporters, lively conversation, and food and drink.  There were brief remarks celebrating our volunteers of the year and the presentation of a large grant check (some of which I've had the pleasure to spend already!)  I'm excited about another year with this organization and all of the activities we're putting on; it's a great group of people, one of the happiest, supportive places I've worked.
