Rainy Day Friday

I sent the kids off without lunch, without snack, without water bottles, for today is their tour at "my" historic house.  They won't need snack and I'm bringing lunch to share.  But we'll have to eat it inside because it is wet and windy here.  Sure, the first rainy day we've had in weeks and it falls today, when an outside picnic together on the grounds of the historic house would have been so nice.  Of course, it's also the morning after Halloween, so the kids are going to be sleepy and distracted, I'm sure.  But I'm still so excited that it's Sis and Bud's tour day.  I've been looking forward to this for ages.  And then I'll celebrate both the kids' tour and the end of the tour season.
