New Hospice Patient

I met my new hospice patient today, a woman in my own community.  I'll be visiting her once a week. We'll fill out a memory book on her childhood, marriage, children, and other memories; she seems absolutely fascinating.  And we're going to make fleece blankets for other people, at her request.  Someone had given her one and now she wants to make them for others.  I'll probably have to do most of the cutting and tying, but I'm glad to help her accomplish this.  We're also going to compile some of her favorite recipes, mostly Polish, which she made after her mother's recipes.  It will make a great Christmas present for her daughter. And I'm honored to help.
