Just call it our "Upstairs, Downstairs" weekend.
Meanwhile, the kids had their first sleepover at Ma and Gong's, enjoying the beach and the ice cream truck, hanging out with Goo and watching a movie (the Depp Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), and eating a ton of food and playing with all of the toys, including new remote-control cars.
Which means we crossed more items off our list (we didn't all do them altogether but that's okay):
21. Sleepover with Ma and Gong
24. Go to an art museum.
30. Go to the beach.
31. Build sandcastles.
61. Visit an historic house or living history museum.

Now, we're home, with Sis at camp again this week and Bud here with me. We've already built a furnished house out of Legos, been to swim lessons, and watched "Phineas and Ferb." Soon he'll be going with me to Pilates and then he might be having a playdate with a friend. Whew, plus kung fu tonight (he's on the team, now, to see if he likes it, and it meets for two hours twice a week) and it's a long day.
Whew!
