Sis came home yesterday brimming with another recipe from camp, this time the one thing she had most looked forward to: rock candy! She had been talking about making rock candy since choosing her camp session way back during the winter. Even though she didn't really even know what it was! But candy is candy . . . .
In her words . . .
Camp Rock Candy
8 cups sugar
4 cups water
7 drops food coloring
2 tablespoon vanilla extract
Huge pot.
Mix.
Boil.
Put in Jar.
Let harden.
Eat.
