Yesterday, when all of us wandered outside for a bit of spring air, we came across this brave daffodil bud growing in our rock wall. We wondered when it would bloom and so hazarded some guesses: Bud said March 10, Sis said April, and I guessed March 14. Now we'll check every morning to watch its progress, not really caring who's right; the buttery-yellow blossom will be our reward.
