Around the Backstop

When we were leaving school earlier this week, some of the young students were running laps around the backstop. My kiddos were fascinated and we slowed down to watch. Several boys were ahead of the pack, with various people in the middle. The class's "fat girl" was near the end but holding her own. At the end was a girl running with a slightly irregular gait, as if she were dragging one side just a bit. Not a hurt foot limp, but a whole lopsided movement.

Is that how I look when I run?

Is that why I was always last around the backstop?

If I can notice this from the parking lot, has someone noticed her? And helped?
