Your guarded welcome is a wise move, I hope that your country learns the mistakes made by mine over the last 65 years. Too numerous to list but the word 'overgenerous' probably sums it up. Then one has to define that word. I expect your health insurance companies will be stricter than our politically driven National Health Service but there will be differences between the companies and you will find that you have what we call a 'post code lottery' and you might call a 'zip code lottery'. Then one has to deal with 'acts of God', I am thinking of misshapen babies (we knew a girl, now 60, whose hands were attached to her wrists and that was pre the anti sickness drug), I had a cousin who had his legs on back to front as well as a cleft pallette and hare lip, he died at 3 months in 1933, probably from malnutrition, to day he would have been saved and may have become a nearly normal adult. Then we have women with mixed up internals who need IVF, obese men who are given a gastric band instead of being medically starved to a normal weight. Is there a good reason for giving men Viagra? I could go on but you will see odd things happening by the time 10 years have gone by. Ethics will be redefined. We had a nice Summer yesterday.
