ERRRRGGGGGHHHHH!
The kids are staying awake until 9:30 p.m. plus every evening. Even with a 7:30-8:00 p.m. in-bed time (then some reading). Even with a 7:20 a.m. ish wake up. Even when they run around and exhaust themselves during the day. Even without any screen time during the school week.
I can't stand the time change. It messes with everyone's sleep (and has for a long, long time.)
Think positive. All you have to do is to imagine you live in Newfoundland, then adjust the times you have to conform to, such as starting school or work, imagine you can travel instantly from Newfie and there you are.
ReplyDeleteThe 'hour' came about in Britain during WW1, a device to enable the lazy Brits to get an extra hour of daylight so they could attend to growing food in the evenings, in WW2 we had 2 hours difference and could grow even more. The inventor was a William Willet, a real estate agent.
