The upper two had to be taken out when he tripped over his backpack while running to the car. Carolyn went through a similar ordeal when her front upper two were damaged so badly in a playground accident that they had to be removed. She was only three at the time. As luck would have it, her permanent teeth didn't appear until she was 8. Five years without those two front teeth! She was cute, though.
