Goodbye, Gourmet?!

It comes as a shock this morning that Conde Nast publishers are closing the covers on Gourmet. It's been published since December 1940 and is headed by famous food writer/editor Ruth Reichl. I've subscribed before but find that I don't make many of the foodie-oriented recipes; still, it's a great read with beautiful pictures. And I've never liked rival Bon Appetit much, which Conde Nast is keeping in print. I'll be keeping a lookout for the last issues of Gourmet--they're bound to be great.
