Contact your nearest esquimo on survival techniques. I understand they all share one bed for a start and they must have a whale oil small burner. Not sure how they avoid gassing themselves but clearly they do. Although we use natural gas for heating we need electricity to work the pump, years ago I bought a small gasoline driven generator which will work that small pump and 2 lights. You seem to have this problem regularly, how do others solve it? Meanwhile keep smiling.
