See, after months of Sis taking sign language, Bud has become more interested and we've decided to add "learn a sign a day" to our summer activities. Only we started early! That's why we were watching "Signing Times." And I showed Bud a few useful signs--know, don't know, understand, need, help, right, wrong. He picked them all up pretty quickly, so we'll keep going with probably more than one a day.
Awhile back, I catalogued a list of words that I found most useful. It's a good list of words, though I've already forgotten a few of them myself (like "impossible.") I've also got some flash cards, 500 of them, so that we can all learn some new words.
Should be lots of fun.
"Fun"--I'll make sure that's on the list!
(For more words, see Life Print's 100 first signs.)
