Ni Hao, Beijing!

Gommie and her friend Granny Q are on the other side of the international dateline, in China, for two weeks of touring.  We're following along on their itinerary--today is their tour of the Forbidden City and hutongs; tomorrow is the Great Wall and a kung fu show.  Later, pandas, terracotta warriors, a tour of the Yangtze River and Three Gorges Dam, and finally a long visit to Shanghai, where Granny Q's son and grandchildren are.  No doubt it'll be an amazing trip.
