As I have mentioned, I can't move anything out of my oven on my own (yet, my PT thinks it's imminent). This is not much of a problem anymore because I have a countertop convection oven/microwave combo. Except it's just not right for baking chicken, one of the kids' favorite dishes. And so yesterday, the little roaster went in the slow cooker with about 1 cup of water, some salt, and some garlic. And it worked perfectly, well, except if you need golden color and crispy skin, which we don't. In fact, it made excellent broth for even better gravy and soup. I wonder if I'll go back to the oven once I can . . . .
