Would You Measure Up?

The Japanese government has a new regulation in place: anyone between the ages of 40-74 must have their waistlines measured annually. To avoid "re-education" (that sounds very Communist Chinese for the Japanese, no?), a person's waist must be 35.4" for women or 33.5" for men.

Just imagine trying that here.

Which, by the way, the people in the article definitely think we should do.
