Summer Fun: A New List

It's almost here, summer!  And this year, it's about 65 days long.  We have camp planned, a few sessions for each child, and are otherwise content not to keep much of a schedule.  But, I like to keep in mind some things we can drive, should we have the inclination.  And so I have a list, just in case (just in case, this is last year's list here.)
  1. Go swimming
  2. Attend town festival.
  3. Boat cruise to Sheffield Island or Thimble Island
  4. Visit historic house
  5. Visit historical society
  6. Go to Broadway show
  7. Beach trip

UPDATE:  The kids have added some new ideas:  70s childhood day (i.e. no computers or DVR/DVDs etc); make your own sushi day, Meringue-day with cookies and pie and Eton Mess; baby day, with old videos and pictures; another CT Sun day.

  1. You have your scarf in a twist, try to celebrate the solstice before 4 July. I like that idea of no electricity day, how about a no gas day?
